Updated review: I was contacted by the manager Olivia Nassar and she invited us back to this Joey's location. We were received and seated at a very nice corner. Linda was our waitress and she was thorough and detailed. Very attentive. The food and the service was top notch. Olivia went out of her way to make sure me and the wife have a great experience and we will definitely be goin back as we have been regular customers of Joey's.

I always have a great time when I visit Joey restaurant in Toronto. The food is good and the atmosphere is chill with a good vibe. The restaurant is very classy but not too expensive which is amazing.My favourite dish is salmon seared sushi. I wouldn’t recommend the burger but the other dishes are decent.

Enjoyed .Ordered through doordash.came warm. Ordered butter chicken, first time trying chicken parm from joeys and salmon budha bowl. Pleasant experience. Tasted fresh

Thank you to the Joey’s Don Mills Team for making our friends Birthday a special one. We reached out to Lucy for help in planning a surprise Mimosa Brunch to be delivered to our good friend. We explained The Girls were planning a special surprise later in the week and Lucy was nothing short of incredible. She went out of her way to provide suggestions and work with the rest of her team to make our order a special one. Olivia jumped in on the actual day and helped execute our special order with care and attention. The service we received went over and above. We cannot thank your team enough for all your help. Had lunch at joey don mills. They didn't have our reservation but we're able to accommodate us without issue. Waitress was very nice and came back throughout our meal to make sure we were happy. Food was presented nicely, portions were good and tasty. Shared a bunch of apps - would recommend the calamari, hummus and flat bread. Had the ribs and chicken. Ribs were tender but wasn't that fond of the sauce. Chicken was great. Mash potatoes too.

The food here is amazing, I ordered the katsu chicken salad and it did not disappoint. Drinks however are a bit expensive, and they do not offer any pitchers of anything. Service was good, but instead of using debit machines they are using iPads for “contactless” payments- and you end up touching the iPad way more then you would a debit machine.

Happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 PM; one cocktail and a burger (with cheese) $21 (including tax). Really good food, good service and wasn’t packed... it was perfect.

A pan-Canadian chain of restaurants, the overall experience was pleasant and the food tasty. Staff are generally younger people wearing trendy and, for the women, slightly revealing clothes. Tables are oversized and seats are comfy. Decor is decidedly contemporary. Restrooms are on the second floor, necessitating a long climb of stairs or an agonizingly slow elevator ride. They were clean, just inconvenient. Food is gimmicky but tasty. Overall a decent value.

Love the food especially the service. Our waitress was very attentive. I'm giving a 2 star mainly because of the wait time. Went there on Thursday 6pm, expected to wait maybe 30 mins - 45 mins. as they don't take reservations. However it's quite ridiculous that we had to wait for 2 hours. Understand the seating capacity (only patio opened) was reduced. But not understanding why they are not accepting reservations online. Just simply charge a no-show fees for reservations if this is the reason why they are not accepting reservations online. I won't go back again!!!

Two words: Happy Hour. Between 3-6 offers cheaper drinks and a variety of good eats. I've always thought Joey's menu is inspired by Asian flavors and it's the same here whether it's a selection of poke bowls, tandoori chicken on flatbread, or gyoza. They even have chopsticks on the table. The poke style bowls were good but the yam fries stole the show. Not easy to make them crispy but they managed to do so here and it matches well with the spicy mayo. We found everything to be tasty.Modern chic vibe to it with a few screens to watch the game albeit the screens are on the tinier side. Large windows surround this location bringing in lots of light. Good service. Good place for a quick drink or to just hang out over some good food.

I like this location and I usually go there with friends. The burger is good and it comes with lots of fries and I love it. Last night I tried their apple pie with maple ice cream and it was delicious and loved it. Although I don’t like very sweet and next time I’ll ask them to give me the caramel sauce on the side. Our server was very nice and caring. His name was Amir. He did his best to make sure we are happy with our orders and it was impressive. The atmosphere is good and their chairs are comfy too. Recommend:)

I've never had a bad experience in joeys. I went to this one with a large group of people and we had a fantastic night. Atmosphere was awesome. The food was excellent. Bbq salmon was incredible. Also having friendly patient and accommodating staff definitely made the experience so much better. I'm sure it isn't easy handling table of 22 people but they did a great job. Absolutely recommend this place if you in the area

I ordered their super nova and crispy mashed potato through doordash. Honestly it's a must try. Their packaging and love that they put in the orders shows. Loved the food as it was simply delicious. Amazing take on classic mashed potato which gives it that extra kick and crunchiness. I'll definitely order again.

With the current situation of covid-19 we had to celebrate my partners b-day indoors and ordered from Joey @ Don Mills. Not only did they make my partner a card, the made a crossword and gave us a mini cake. The food as always was delicious but just wanted to thank the staff here for brightening up our night. Liv, Paige, Melissa, Sean and all the other staff working on April 23, 2020 thanks a million - you guys are amazing!J

I went to Joey's earlier this month for my bday. It wasn't the best experience. However, I've gone back again and I have to say the staff made me remember why I love Joeys. Everything was on point. The food was good. I really appreciate that Joeys management took the time to follow up and redo my experience. I really value a business like this because it means that they care about their customers. I def recommend this location! My friends and I will be going back!

I always enjoy their food but their drinks really missed the mark this time. We were at a table of 7 and every cocktail/mixed drink was off. My friend couldn't taste the gin in his gin and tonic. Their Moscow Mules have lemon lime slush which cuts the sharpness of the ginger beer which is the whole point of ginger beer. So stick with wine or beer, sit back and enjoy their food and you'll be in for a good evening.

Amazing! Never disappoints! Excellent service and flavourful food. You know exactly what to expect and they deliver.

I go here often not sure why it says 3 years ago lol Great place to eat or grab after work drinks. It’s slightly pricier than Jack Astor’s but that’s because it’s also a little more upscale and they have better quality food. Friendly and helpful staff. Q The odd time I’ve had a mix drink come to me watered down but that rarely happens and they usually correct the issue. No real complaints here. Would recommend!

The sliders are absolutely amazing here. Definitely give them a try. The ribs I had were decent but nothing special. Price isn’t bad for the atmosphere. Would come again just got the sliders :)

I had the BEST experience at this JOEYs!! I've visited so many different locations before so I didn't expect anything, but the service was above and beyond. Ali was our server and she was an absolute delight and pleasure. She was personable, professional, and also gave us such a warm & inviting experience. Ali was also very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. I don't think I'll be visiting any other location anymore because Ali set the standard way too high - I'll only be going here strictly because of her. JOEY @ Don Mills, Ali is definitely an asset to the restaurant!! Thanks for an amazing experience!!

It was good atmosphere, a bit loud though. Can hardly blame them as it's holiday time and restaurant is packed. Staff was great and very accommodating. We were a large group and our server handled everything very smoothly. A wonderful surprise was that they have half price wine bottles on Wednesday. That was such an amazing deal. Food was also superb. All in all, it was a 5star experience. Will go back again. Convenient valet service was also a great plus for a very cold evening.

Super service on the patio at lunch. Perfect place to take my 96 year old mom for lunch. Adhering to covid protocols.

One of the overall nicest Joeys locations. Great place to come for drinks and exceptional service. Awesome upstairs patio in the summer.Highly recommend the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer or the chili chicken. The yellow fin tuna salad never disappoints as well.

Recently went to this Joeys location for curb side pick up on Thursday and was totally dissatisfied with my order, especially having been such a regular customer when the spot was actually open to customers. I ordered Bombay Butter Chicken with ‘Joey Apple Pie’. They made a huge mistake and gave me tofu instead of chicken, the flavour and temperate of the dish was great but I could not get over the rubbery texture of tofu. On a side note, the waitresses gave no napkins, forks..nothing, guess I was meant to eat with my hands. The apple pie on the hand was frozen so I couldn’t even eat it! I warmed it up the next day and it tasted like cardboard, definitely tasted better pies at Walmart. Totally disappointed in Joey’s curbside pickup experience, they have lost a customer for sure.

The first time I dined here last June, I tried their paella dish and it was incredibly amazing! When I went back recently with my kids, I was sad to see it was no longer on the menu. However, we enjoyed some delicious fried calamari with asparagus, beautifully made sushi, and mini sliders. The chicken and ribs were also quite tasty. Can’t wait to go back!

This was our first dining experience at Joey's after receiving a gift certificate from my Sister. My husband and I were greeted by Jessica "hostess" at the front door and she was very pleasant and friendly . Josh took out order and was also friendly and very helpful with making a choice from the menu. My husband and I both had the steak with pasta filled with lobster which was delicious. For dessert we shared the donuts which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our overall experience was so good that we will definitely be returning.

My only complaint is food proportions are too small compared to their prices. I love going there during their happy hours, drinks and cocktails are priced great during those times. I'm amazed by the amount of sushi related stuff they have, I definitely go there with people who don't like sushi (ahem my fiance ahem) because they have burgers and sandwiches too.

Staff is very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant is an open space design its about $70 for 2 people to get drinks and a main entree each. No complaints on food. Timely service. Arrive around 5pm or make a reservation if you can so you're not stuck on a wait list gets busy every minute after 5pm.

Do not go here! Its a waste of time. Spend your money somewhere else. The staff are rude, and dont know how to treat people. If you are not from the area they look down on you and treat you like garbage. It doesnt matter if you tip, or treat them well. They dont care. The worst Joeys I have been to. The other locations never treat me like this, and I definetly will not come back!

The food is amazing and I would come back just for that, but the service here is simply outstanding. Our server was on top of everything, always checking on us, making sure we were okay and satisfied with our food. On top of that, I feel like the servers and hosts have a secret language, as they would all work together to make sure the clients were okay. Someone would refill our water, someone else would clear an empty chair so we would have more space, someone else would bring our food, etc... Again, the food is great, but the service is wonderful and something that not many restaurants have to that extent. Whoever is training these guys is amazing, they're always on top of everything, and I've been here numerous times and it is always the same. They always go out of their way to make sure you are perfectly satisfied and comfortable while enjoying your delicious food. Definitely recommended, and I'll keep coming back!

We celebrated a friends birthday on Sunday and the entire experience was amazing. From the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left your staff was friendly and accommodating. The food absolutely delicious and arrived to the table hot. Our server was what really made our experience exceptional, Charlotte was one of the nicest people I've ever met...great hire! This was my first time at Joey and I will certainly be back. Thank you very much and Happy Holidays to you and your staff!!

Experienced the happy hour specials when I went in yesterday, was impressed with how good the menu is. Would recommend going there between that time to try some of the tasty, appetizing dishes they have to offer. My personal favourite were the sliders!

The food was good. Great spot for large groups. Nice and friendly servers. Overall a nice atmosphere for a group of friends to have dinner.

Food and service was as expected from a place like Joey's... It was alright. I tried the new chicken sandwich and it was tasty but on the salty side. The crispy spring rolls are always a win though! I definitely paid extra for that... A whole $3.50 was a bit much but I was craving it. Keep an eye out for the new chicken sandwich if you want to give it a try... Definitely beats the California club sandwich.

They've responded very well to the Covid 19 challenges. They have some groceries you can order delivery via DoorDash which is helpful, meal kits and of course their usual menu.It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and got fantastic delivery service from them. We got pressed sushi, lettuce wraps, soup, yellow fin tuna salad, sliders and a burger. Everything was great and I was actually most impressed that all their containers were either recyclable or organic bin friendly.The only small note is that I'll have to remember to request the burger sauce to be packed separately.Thank you for your help in celebrating our milestone in this new environment.

Overall a good restaurant to have a delicious meal. For the price, I would hope for a bit larger portion. It doesn't feel like good value for what you receive. The service was excellent. We were greeted immediately, the hostess sat us quickly at a table. It was a slower time, and no wait list. The atmosphere was great. I had the steak and crispy mashed potatoes. The steak was alright. I asked for Medium and it was more medium rare. The portion seemed tiny. The crispy mashed were amazing. Overall the food was good. My only complaint, if it's even a complaint is the price to portion. It seems like the prices go up, and the portions shrink. It's a great place for a nice upbeat atmosphere, but you are paying a premium for it.

Lovely social environment. Our waitress was great lovely and bright. The food was spot on, the plates will be clean going back to the kitchen lol. The range of cultures on the menu is great too. Will be coming back for another meal :)
